RANDOM SPAMMY JOURNAL NO ONE WILL READ ANYWAY


This really REALLY REALLY bothers me.
I'm really fearing the end of the word "faze" these days. I have not seen it in YEAAAAAAAAAARS 'cause everytime it's supposed to be used, people use "phase" instead.


FAZE: [feyz]
verb (used with object), fazed, faz⋅ing.
to cause to be disturbed or disconcerted; daunt.

eg. The worst insults cannot faze him.


PHASE: [feyz]
noun, a stage in a process of change or development.

eg. Each phase of life brings its own joys.

verb (used with object), to put or come into use gradually; incorporate by degrees.

eg. to phase in new machinery.

among other definitions. but CERTAINLY NOTHING SIMILAR.

I'm tired of seeing people use "phase" instead of "faze". They're both great words, but "faze" is so neglected u_u

It's just a huge peeve of mine ):




TL;DR FAZE and PHASE are DIFFERENT WORDS.
